Cotton futures are experiencing a notable rally this Wednesday, with prices climbing between 53 to 64 points by midday. In the broader market, the US dollar index has dipped by $0.315, settling at $98.495, while crude oil prices have also seen a slight decrease, down $0.19 per barrel.<\/p>\n
In a recent online auction conducted by The Seam on Tuesday, only 45 bales of cotton were sold, with an average price recorded at 47.24 cents per pound. Additionally, the Cotlook A Index has dropped another 35 points as of October 14, now standing at 74.95 cents. Meanwhile, ICE certified cotton stocks remained unchanged on the same date, with the total certified stocks level at 16,593 bales.<\/p>\n
