The latest NASS Crop Progress report reveals that 67% of the US cotton crop has bolls opening, slightly trailing the 69% average for this time of year. Harvest progress is on par with the average, currently at 16%. Cotton conditions remain stable, with 47% rated as good or excellent, unchanged from last week. The Brugler500 index has seen a slight uptick, rising 2 points to 335. In Texas, ratings improved by 2 points, whereas Georgia saw a decline of 2 points.<\/p>\n

The Cotlook A Index remained steady on September 29 at 77.70 cents. Additionally, ICE cotton stocks have remained unchanged as of September 29, with certified stock levels at 15,474 bales.
