In trading on Friday, the iShares Global Consumer Staples ETF has emerged as a standout performer among various ETFs, showing an impressive increase of approximately 1.3% for the day. Notably, several components within this ETF have demonstrated significant strength. Kenvue has surged by about 8.8%, while Colgate-Palmolive has also made gains, rising by around 1.9%.
On the other hand, the Global X Silver Miners ETF is struggling, experiencing a decline of about 8.1% in Friday afternoon trading. This underperformance can be attributed to several of its components, with New Pacific Metals facing a sharp drop of approximately 17%. Additionally, shares of Gold Resource have also taken a hit, falling by about 14.8% during the same trading session.
