Cotton futures experienced a decline during the Monday session, with contracts falling between 10 to 16 points in the front months. The US dollar index saw a slight increase, rising by $0.380 to reach $97.795. Meanwhile, crude oil continued its recent upward trend, gaining $0.85 per barrel.
In the latest online auction held on October 3 by The Seam, there were 240 sales recorded at an average price of 62.30 cents per pound. Additionally, the Cotlook A Index decreased by 50 points on Friday, settling at 76.45 cents. As of October 3, ICE cotton stocks remained unchanged, with certified stock levels reported at 17,891 bales.

Dec 25 Cotton closed at 65.14, also down 16 points.
Mar 26 Cotton closed at 67.09, down 10 points.
